My only comment is about "Red Loctite".  To my knowledge, it takes a torch to dislodge should the need arise.  I recently (5 years ago!) installed a VanCafe aluminum Pressure tank; I needed to exchange fittings to fit my specific configuration with Subie 2.2 motor. VanCafe assured me that even though it looked like Red Loctite, it wasn't.  And they were exactly right.  It took a heft, but no torch.  Just be careful about which Loctite product you use.
