Subject:   Wire crimp tool, find
Content-Type:   text/plain; charset=utf-8

Hi friends on the Vanagon list,

I can’t believe no one on this list mentioned this tool to me!

A friend stopped in to do a few tasks with me.

While putting in the LED headlights, and setting up the blinking signal lights in the headlight a spade connector on a ground wire fell off. Big surprise.

So I went to get my connectors, and He said Oh! I have something to show you.

I’ve always struggled with crimp connectors, ever sense learning how to do it. Learning this was a 4:00 am lesson from a member of this list.

So, my friend hands me a ratcheting crimper. It puts on just the right pressure then releases. No more over or under crimping. He says it has been perfect for him.

This is a tool I need to find. Of course he doesn’t remember for sure where he got it!

So, now to find the darn thing. I will double check but I think he said the name on the tool was Doyle

Any one got info on such a tool? This will improve my wiring game a great deal.

Eric Caron
