Subject: Hot water tip came in handy, second squirter repair
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi folks,

Thanks to Jim and others that recommended hot water for softening a boot or other item.

I had fixed my window squirters, but a day later not working again.

I dropped the reservoir again and found hose was kinked at the pump again. I was staring to run out of hose.. and, the hose was a bit hard to get on to the pump.

I went to the auto parts store and purchased an elbow for the hose and added a spare piece of hose I had. I was able to easily get the hose on the pump and elbow this time as I softened with hot water in a coffee cup.

The elbow both changed the direction of the hose and allowed me to add some hose. The squirters now work better than they have for years. And two days later still working.

So, these tips are very helpful.

Eric Caron 84 and 85 Westfalia.
