Subject: Propex no heat issue resolved
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi folks,

I noted in a different thread that my Propex heater stopped lighting after a propane refill.

I checked In with our list expert and he gave me the tip to be sure the van temp was low enough for start. It was. Before he could get back to me I got lucky an figured out how to reset the heater by good luck. I later did confirm this with a better Google search.

I have the older heater with two knobs. The reset is to put the second knob on full heat all the way to the right. Then to quickly 5 times move the other knob from off to fan about 5 times. I did it about 15 times. The next time I tried the knob on heat the Propex operated normally and lit up.

This is a good time of year to have heat available in VT. And to have it ready for the spring season.

Eric Caron
