Hi folks,

Changing the subject to keep the Tire info separate.

I’m glad to hear of improvement with the GW Engine Management system.

I’ve had my share of issues and a friend is not experiencing improved MPG with a new install.

In my case the Cam Sensor for starting has failed twice leading to oil leak.

The new version from GW now uses an original distributor cap to house a cam sensor.

Starting has improved and idle is still very high.

My system was checked by them on line and I’m hesitant to mess with it, but would like to get the idle down below 1100.

My van is auto and gets about 15 mpg Friends new GW 2.3 Manual is getting about 18 MPG verses my similar 84 manual with original 1.9 engine management, but with new wiring harness, and GW throttle. Also new used AFM had to toss the new GW AFM. I’m getting better then 20 MPG

I keep hoping we can dial in that GW system to take advantage of improvements but so far no luck.
