There are a number of videos out there on the subject.  The hard part is getting the door alignment correct. If you have had some experience doing that, it is a step in the right direction.  Good Luck. Dave B. On Thursday, August 14, 2025 at 06:18:13 PM EDT, John Lauterbach <smoketoxdoc@icloud.com> wrote:

I have a 91 Vanagon. I need to replace rear hinge on the sliding door. Have one on oder from VanAgain.  Can I do this job by myself?  Right now van is in Poincianal, FL, in my girlfriend's garage. With her car moved out have open half of garage to work in.  Suggestions and help appreciate.  John
