Thanks Jim,

I only learned about this recently as VW and Kong put out a special addition kong recently and I caught a story about it. I’m amazed how few people, including me, didn’t know the story.

Sadly the special kong was not very interesting and expensive. Just a kong with a little VW symbol on it.

In the meantime the Kong is a part of guide dog equipment for many of us. It has many uses. One is to fill with softened food and then frozen. Give to your dog if he is being left for a long period of time as it will entertain him.

Also, other toys like nylabones, and antlers, often lead to broken teeth.

Now, what other cool VW part creations are out there?
