Update on sliding door.  Finally got cold enough 30 miles south of downtown Orlando for door to latch.


Going back to hottest part of this past summer had to take Vanagon out at hottest part of day to rescue my girlfriend and a bunch of frozen food after her Outback wouldn't start.  Got back to her house, got the groceries out and the sliding door would not close.


Sliding door came from another  vanagon and was put on during the restoration.
