Lubrication helps. I like spray on white grease for latch & hinge. My annual ritual is t remove the track cover and clean & lube the rear mechanism and lube both latches and all the rollers. (Sure wish that one of our vendors would offer a rebuild kit for the pre-’85 sliders.)

And yes, List traffic has dwindled to about nothing. We may be nearing a time when the best thing to do is just let the server be an archive. In my time, it’s gone from hundreds of posts/day to 3 or 4 a week.
