Eric,
I agree that the list is still invaluable.
The junk or spam folder is not the list's problem. It is the problem
of the receiver's email provider or email client (or app). That's what
decides the messages are spam. There are ways to fix that, but the
methods are different depending on the provider and/or the email client
application. The only generic solution that I know of is to run your
own email server, which is exactly what I do. I have no junk nor
spam folder ... I see ALL my incoming email.

I love this list, but because most of my list mail goes to junk it
isn’t as useful. The FB group Technical Depository has many of the old
names and even moderated by one of our strongest memembers.
Also, unlike all the other Vanagon FB groups I’m aware of this one is
moderated for those with serious questions and responses. And cut out
the chatter. As a result the tone is more like the Vanagon List.
I’d love to see this list be technically healthy again, but I’ve taken
to asking and answering questions on that one group.

Gotta drain gas and I'm sure water. Sat for a few years here. Cranks, spark, no start. Doing the same mods again to this one, in Maine now.
