Mike, feel free to rant.  You have good reason to do so.  I feel your pain as I also have had problems with gerry.  This is a audience who knows. Dave B. On Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at 11:24:39 AM EDT, Michael A. Radtke <wa7zpu@5by9.net> wrote:

Dave,

I've posted this kind of message here before.  Basically, the spammers have won.

Our email providers feel that they are doing us a favor by detecting spam.  So much so, that I've never found one allowed me to turn off spam filtering ... even though some say you can ... they "know" what's best for me.

Years ago, I missed an important message from my bank because my email provider decided that it was spam.  Long story, but I have run my own email server since.

But things have gotten even worse.  Some email providers now reject my incoming email just because it doesn't come from google, yahoo, microsoft, etc., not because they have ever received a spam message from my server.

Like I said, the spammers have won.

Rant over, Mike

Hi Mike. I got your original post but found this one in my spam folder.  That is where some of the vanagon posts go.  I check my spam folder daily to find things my computer feels are dangerous.  You could check it also for wayward posts.  When I did not get replies to my first post, I checked the archives and it was there, I just needed to shake the tree to get some replies, which I did. Good Luck and Carry On. Dave B. On Sunday, July 5, 2026 at 11:52:10 AM EDT, Mike Miller <mwmiller6@att.net> wrote:

I bought mine more than 20 years ago to clear my speakers.  But then, aftermarket ones were commonly available.  A quick google search comes up with many, but I would try the our favorite suppliers first.

Hi All. I was hoping to get at least a few replies or even get some chatter going from the few of us still here. I really hoped someone would have told me where to get them. Carry on folks. Dave B.
