I don't know how the rear units compare with the front unit like ours but while I had it down I used duct tape to seal all openings and cracks. It's warping in some places due to the supports being on the ends and the extreme heat we get here. So I added some more pop rivets to help close some of the gaps. That has helped a bit. I'm afaid that in several years the unit may fall due to old age.
