I found this on rec.autos.marketplace. I don't recall seeing it here so I decided to repost it 1966 VW double-cab pickup, $2800/offer the good: - 6K miles on rebuilt 1600DP, brakes (including wheel cylinders), tires - nice straight body, no major dents - clean, decent interior - drives great, relatively little play in steering - good power -- goes up hills at freeway speeds! - heater works well - 12 volt the bad: - paint is okay, but not great (it's white) - small (3 inch) rust hole in floorboard by rear cargo door - a little rust under the windshield seals - broken turn signals
