As to propane heat, my own approach is to have pucrchased for a few hundred dollars a propane heater that hangs off the refrigerator door. It's made by Olympian, I think it has 6200 or 8200 BTU.

I'm quite interested to learn more about two of your comments above: In more detail ( keep in mind I have a 1985 Vanagon):

How do you install the:

1. Refrigerator spray nozzles on sink, and 2. The wash the feet hose that runs to the back?
