ok. here's the scope from the dope on the north-south california thing:

-AUS 3 CA.N 35 MD 3 OR 6 -CAN ALB 1 CA.S 8 ME 1 PA 11 -CAN BC 6 CO 5 MI 4 RI 1 -CAN NB 2 DC 1 MN 3 TN 1 -CAN NS 1 FL 3 MO 3 TX 10 -CAN ONT 7 GA 4 MT 2 UT 2 -CAN SAS 1 IA 3 NC 9 VA 2 -DEU 1 ID 1 ND 1 WA 3 -UK 6 IN 2 NE 1 WA.W 12 AL 1 KS 1 NJ 4 WI 5 AR 1 KY 1 NM 1 AZ 3 LA 1 NY 6 CA 1 MA 7 OH 5 Unknown 47 Total 249

it would appear that the bay area up north (the one sitting atop the next Big One! :) is the clear leader. the only CA i don't know what to do with is Eric Townsend ... i don't know if he's north or south. :)

for the grumbling Washingtonians, you'll notice that your request has been granted. big deal, you're all on the west side. but i don't know where three of you are. Eric Oster, and Ben McGough ... i don't know where they are. and Rick Gordon is on some island that i can't find on the map ... i can assume it's over by the ocean, but i'm not sure. ;)

i guess texas and pennsylvania are next, eh?

sigh. the things i do just to keep other people happy. :(
