Got some more info:  It's the Goodguys California Bug Bash. Sunday
April 23, at the fairgrounds in Vallejo, supposedly (at least according)
to this flyer :) the largest bw event in California.  Indoor show featuring
$1k cash and loving cup to the vw of the year.  Indoor and outdoor
judged show, huge swamp meet, exhibits, biking contest (no, ric, sorry,
I won't be posing), engine blow, entertainment, volleyball, fun for
all, etc.  It says:  don't miss the crowning of the VW of the year.
Fees:  $20 per VW (includes car & driver)
$30 show entry
$40 swap spot
$10 general
$5 kids 7-12
