I personally prefer the MRE's over the c-rats. Anyday. You just have to learn how to prepare the MRE's. In the Army, we wouldset the meal on our heater plate and cook dinner on the road. The M-113A2 Armored Personel Carrier has a diesal heater inside that heats up a meal in minutes.
