Bill,

In 1993, VW was giving a rebate or cash to defray the cost of equipping
EVs with wheel chairs. I have the promotional video on the EV from
VW and there is a 30 second spot on the wheel chair/handicapped
conversion program. There is also some text in the 1993 brochure
to that effect as well.
