Subject: MSRP prices for 1988 Vanagons wanted

Vanatics, I am compiling a Model Year Summary for USA Vanagons for 1988 and would like to inlcude the MSRP for the vans and all of the options. If anyone has an original window sticker or other reliable price data, I'd love to hear from you.

Here's what I have:

Description My original window sticker 1988 Edmunds guide Vanagon GL n/a 16,240. Wanagon GL WLE 19,090 18,590. Wanagon GL Camper n/a 21,180. AT 495. 495. PW 225. 225. PM n/a 180. PM & PW n/a 450. Weekender n/a 295. AC 990. 990. CC 220. 220. Alloys n/a 440. Metalic Paint n/a 375. Radio n/a 635. Radio Prep. 215. 215. Rear wiper n/a 180.

The Edmunds guide seemds to match my window sticker pretty well, but the basic price of the van is different. I suspect this might be due to mid-year price changes, since I bought my van late in 1988. If anyone has any additional or clarifying information. I'd love to hear from you. BTW, WLE is Wolfsburg Limited Edition.

Thanks, Jim Davis 87 Syncro 88 Wolfsburg
