sorry, i missed something.  was this hanging up in third mean not able to
shift out?  also what year? A friend had a similar problem,  but also the
reduction gears lock up as well.  Needless to say,  this makes driving
dangerous?  anyone have any similar experience?  His bus has a 61 trans.
