Was it just the body style change : or did it change when they went to 12 volts?) Don't know, but those covers have saved me from losing a headlight a couple of times now. Definitely silly to stop using them, IMHO. : I replaced the small lamps inside the headlight buckets that are mounted : in the side of the bucket although I don't know what these lights are used : for. I assume the front blinker lights are also the "parking" lights. : Anyone know about these small lights inside the headlight buckets? Unless yours is wired significantly differently from of the microbusi that I've seen, those are your parking lights. Try turning just those on, and look at what comes on. I find they can actually be more useful than the headlights sometimes, when I'm worried more about side-swiping something (and moving relatively slowly, of course). : I can't use my 6-volt generator pulley on my new 12 volt alternator, need : a new pully. This might explain my problems with belts always being loose.... : 12 volt dome light bulbs are longer than 6 volt dome light bulbs and just : *barely* fit. Make doubly sure you have five watt bulbs. The more-common ten watt version will melt your bulb covers. Dworkin
