This trip report reminds me of a question that arose on my recent trip to the Canadian Rockies. Should you follow the same precautions camping in a Westfalia that you follow camping in a tent in bear country? In other words, should you be concerned about a bear ripping through the poptop canvas to get at the food in the van? ---------- >From: Eddiehintz@aol.com[SMTP:Eddiehintz@aol.com] Sent: Tuesday, July 16, 1996 10:12 AM ========================================================================= Date: Sender: Vanagon Mailing List <vanagon@vanagon.com> From: Subject: Trip Report: Sequoia/Kings Canyon We are at Sentinal campground, Kings Canyon National Park. The food is in the bear locker, and it's nearly bedtime, but first I have a trip report to write, and about 3 days worth of email to answer.
