At least that's my experience. If you keep your Previa beyond the warranty, how many Previa owners will pitch in & give you a hand when it breaks?

Thermostat's not major, but since you will need to bleed the coolant system afterwards, you might as well change the coolant, unless you know for sure this has been done in the last year. You should get the Bentley manual before attempting anything on your Vanagon, if you plan to maintain it yourself.
