Finally got my new engine to start today, thanks to the help of you
listmembers.  I got lots of great diagnostic suggestions for my suspected FI
problem.  Jeff Diebolt gets the kewpie doll; he mentioned the FI connection
at the coil and a light went on in my head (finally!).  I had it hooked up
to the wrong lead on the coil!  Stupid!  I was looking for more complicated
problems, when all it was was a dumb little mistake.  But I'm too happy
right now to be red-faced!  


I'll let you know more later.  I'm going for a ride!
