Interesting...My 84 GL does the same thing..for about the last 1,200 miles. It is definately coming from the transmission (in mine). It first appeared about 350 miles after I had the pilot bearing replaced. The rest of the tranny was at about 70-80%. I'd be curious to find out what it is...
