alright john....take D and hook it to ground, see if the light on the switch coes on when the lights are on....lemme know...should work fine... btw, does the switch have a MFG name and part # on it? (could look it up in one of the bug books sittin around, and fine what each is sposed to be for..:) memory is drawing a blank on the A cnonnector...hmm...
