I'm waiting for a call from VWoA. My '91 Westy with 36,000 miles started had a gasket start leaking on Christmas Eve. I would hope the head gaskets would last longer than the first set of tires!! If I don't get a call by Friday, I'll have to work my way up the food chain with another call.
