ENDED UP WITH HEAD GASKET,WATERPUMP (3RD ONE),LIFTERS REPLACEMENT TO THE TUNE OF ABOUT $3K, NOT TO MENTION THE 3 DAYS OOUT OF TOWN. VW PAID 1/2 OF HEAD GASKET REPAIR, WHOPPIE. I HAD JUST 56000 MILES ON MY 91 , WITH JUST OVER A YEAR ON THE WATER PUMP AND HAD TRIED (WITHIN WARRANTY) TO GET THEM TO ADDRESS THE POSSIBILITY OF A HEAD LEAK, TO NO AVAIL. ANYBODY OUT THERE WITH SIMILAR PROBLEMS ON 90 T0 92. I'VE BEEN SEARCHING THE ARCHIEVE, BUT HE WITH THE MOST PAPERWORK WINS. SO HELP PLEASE, I'D LIKE TO TAKE THEM A REAM...OF PAPERWORK. THANKS. MARTI
