Subject: Re: Increase idle speed for air conditioner?-Further research?

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hi,

Still trying to solve the aftermarket low idle air comditioner syndrome. I went to the junkyard, found a rabbit with both power steering and air conditioning, saw the vacuum diverter device, and did an experimental conversion to the vac advance line on my 84 adventurewagon. When I induced a vac leak to this line(while cold) it jacked up the idle higher as was recommended by other listers(thanks for the idea!) But...after it warmed up, when this device was activated, it began to do the old "search for idle speed" so many others have posted in the past. Is this caused by the idle stablizer? Does anyone know of another way to make the idle go up when the air conditioner is activated? I tried other vac locations but none seemed to bring up the idle. Thanks as always for any help on this.
