Hi all, Today I was on a highway for the first time since refinishing the luggage rack on my '80 Westy. I sanded it and repainted with Verilux marine paint and then used a new rubber bulb type seal I got from Bus Boys last fall - it looks great! Anyway, at highway speed (about 55 to 60, not sure, my speedo cable broke recently) I noticed an occasional loud vibration of the front of the luggage rack! I was not happy. Has anyone had this problem before? I don't know if I didn't do a good job putting it back on or if this is a problem with these types of replacement seals. Maybe air can get under the seal and make the front of the fiberglass vibrate? Is it me or the seal? <<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>> <<>> Don Geiger <<>> <<>> '80 Westy in NJ <<>> <<>> dgeiger@k2nesoft.com <<>> <<>> www.k2nesoft.com/~dgeiger/volks.html <<>> <<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>>
