To an untrained mechanic it appears that you have to remove the power
steering pump to remove the heads.  Not so.  Yes, I would go explain that he
caused problems.  If you want to get money from him, I would do it nicely.
 After that, stay away.  He may be highly recommended but he doesn't know
VWs.
