Vic,

You did not answer my last mail, so I like to ask you again:

This are gearboxes from South Africa:

ID number 094 094 094 091 ID character AOJ AFJ AFJ ? for engine 1.8L 2.5L 2.6L 3.2L Power 70 kW 100 kW 100 kW 121 kW Year > 89 > 91 > 95 > 88

1. gear 3.780 4.111 4.111 3.780 2. gear 2.060 2.333 2.333 2.060 3. gear 1.225 1.476 1.476 1.225 4. gear 0.850 1.023 1.023 0.850 5. gear N/A 0.816 0.816 N/A Revers 3.670 3.667 3.667 3.670 transaxle 4.833 4.833 4.571 4.830

Are the ID-numbers and character right in the table above? Is the gearbox for the 4 Cyl. 70 kW engine a 5 speed? (BTW, the inline 4 fits the Diesel)

>The 094 series 5-speeds are $2200 ea. (available with either the 5cyl. or >inline 4cyl. bell-housings).

As a comparison, the South African 5 speeds will cost DM 2,400.- in Germany, including dealer's profit.
