In a few months we are going to be taking a trip that crosses Louisiana. We think it's about time to take the '81 Westie out for a real run. A friend tells us that she saw a show on TV (see... almost first hand rumor). The show -- one of those magazine types, like Primetime, said there was a problem in some towns in Louisiana with local cops using the forfeiture laws to stop law abiding citizens and confiscate their vehicles and property. Has anyone else heard of this? Anyone from Louisiana want to rebut? Is is just BY, or is there anything to it?
