A friend of mine has been shopping around (southern Calif) for a Vanagon & is currently looking at an 87 Wolfsburg Ed. Vanagon (although her dream vehicle would be a red 90 or 91 Vanagon Carat). I haven't seen if myself. Original owner asking $5900 for it. What I've been told about it: It's an automatic w/89,000 miles on original engine. Heads, head gasket & air flow meter have recently been replaced. Any advice on whether it's a good buy considering the head work recently done to it. Also anything else to ask or look for would be greatly appreciated. Please respond to me directly. Thanks Durby Suniga 87 Vanagon WLE Irvine, CA. |
