Felix, Felix, Felix, do we have a deal for you? First the struts for the rear hatch... Most major cities have a world parts, euro parts or something like that that specializes in foreign parts. Here in San Diego it's "World Parts". They carry the exact same strut that VW uses, same part number but without the VW/Audi stamped on it. Cost around $20 each. Last time I checked with a dealer for those struts they wanted $65 for one and $75 for the other (one is stronger than the other). Use the Phone.

The window washer reservoir may not be cracked. The filler tube from the floor is separate form the reservoir, so when you fill it up, it may leak where they join. Reservoir is easy to check out, three bolts holding it in place. It's good to have a pan handy to empty the fluid into when you drop it because the pump is attached by the electrical wires and the tube to the spray nozzles. Makes it difficult to hold the tank in one hand and disconnect with the other when the tank is full. I know...I did it last week-end.

If the tank needs to be replaced, check the junk yards first.
