You can get a new 8' A&E Catalina 2500, with the van mounting kit (a $50 add-on; necessary to get the awning to clear the door) for about $300-350, plus taxes, shipping, installation, etc.

I suggest you inspect any used awnings carefully to be sure that all the necessary components are provided (for instance, the lower strut mounting clips that attach to the van) and that the unit is indeed in *excellent* condition, as replacement parts may be difficult and/or expensive to obtain. I'd also avoid any unusual brand names or obsolete models, for the same reason.
