Chris & Aimee, I use 92 octane fuel because (in theory) the oil companies put more detergent in the higher octane stuff, and it is supposed to benefit Bosch fuel injection systems. I know the Alfa becomes very sputtery and unhappy with lower octane/detergent fuel (it too has Bosch electronic fuel injection), but I haven't experimented with the Syncro as yet.
