Where do people buy their diesel compression testers? Here in Rochester NY they don't seem to be availible. (and the gas ones only go to 300psi) I've found two mail order sources: Parts place: $79.95 including the adaptor to fit VW heads. JC Whitney: $29.95 + $11.95 for adaptor. (This is from an old catalog. Can somebody verify if it is still availible?) Have anyone tried these? Any reason to buy Parts place one over the cheaper JC whitney? I also thought about chasing down a "snap on" truck and check with them, but "snap on" is probably even more expensive. Any other sources? Thanks for any insights. /Martin -- Martin Jagersand email: jag@cs.rochester.edu Computer Science Department jag@cs.chalmers.se University of Rochester Slow down and visit the VW diesel Westy page: WWW: http://www.cs.rochester.edu/u/jag/vw |
