Due to a minor malady, it has become appropriate to move my 86 Syncro (5 speed) 7 miles without benefit of self propulsion. May it prudently be towed if the gearshift is in neutral and max speeds kept to 20-25 mph? Would this create a serious risk of damaging the viscous coupling or any of the other delicate and expensive Syncro components? Prompt replies will be appreciated, as it should be moved within a day or two. Thanks in advance. Budd Premack 86 Syncro, 84 Vanagon, 73 Super Minneapolis, MN bpremack@wavetech.net |
