I know there has been some discussion on rear heater cores/systems, but as I am looking at the wet floor under my rear bench in my 90 Vanagon, (same problem on my '87) it occurs to me there must be an easier way. One weak link is the connection of the inbound coolant hose to the valve- the valve housing leaks, it is plastic, it seems weak, etc. Couldn't one simply use some kind of in line valve and run the hose direct to the core? Anyone done this? Ideas appreciated! Ed Morrell 90 Carat 124K Miles |
