Alain: I was waiting for someone in the group that had more repair experiance than me to answer your problem, I had the same. I have been trying ways to stop the leak at the temp switch with a number of different O rings and using pipe tape on the threads, To no avail! My expansion tank is just to the left of the coolent tank that you get to from the licence plate. Take off the engine cover to work on it. Couldn't buy just the NOS O ring so bought the whole switch. Part #251 919 372 cost $8.60 US. Problem solved! Easy fix, Disconnect, screw out old and screw in new and connect. Good luck.... Ed Henckel '86 Westy Mt Bethel, PA |
