Hey folks,

My wife and I currently own three cars, '91 Honda CRX, '91 Toyota Corolla, and our beloved '90 Westy. We have to get rid of one of the cars, but definitely not the Westy! So we are looking into trading/selling both the Honda and Toyota for a '90 or '91 (preferably a Tornado red '91) Carat. Here are my questions:

(1) What sets apart the Carat from the Vanagon GL? (2) What was the marketing ploy in coming out with the Carat? (3) How does the 3sp auto-tranny perform (wife MUST have an automatic!) (4) Anything else I should know?

TIA

Chris
