     A while back, someone (might of been Unca Joel) was fantasizing
about adding the standard Vanagon gas tank (in front) to a Synchro.
That, and seeing my very first Synchro close up got me to thinking:
     Boy that's a lot of empty space under that rear seat there.
     How hard would it be to put a Synchro gas tank in a regular van?
Has anyone  else come up with a good use for that space?  The only thing
I've ever seen under there is the fan for the gas heater.
