Subject: 1986 GL - DISK BRAKES
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

Hi all,

At 95,000 miles my GL is ready for new brake disks at the front.

The dealer has stated that replacement of the disks entails replacement of the stub axles and has quoted about $440.00 for the job. Is this correct? Does this sound reasonable?

I have no doubts that it is necessary; I was just wondering if anyone else had any ideas on the subject?

Thanks in advance
