Subject: New stuff on 'site, Ramblings
Comments: To: type2@bigkitty.azaccess.com

Got more stuff on the 'site. Major overhaul on the stickers page - loads faster and I'm running a special too on that and other Fun Zone stuff for Christmas (gee-whiz - Halloween hasn't arrived yet).

Distributor, Interchange, Replacement Parts and Tune-Up Info (Beetle, Bus & Vanagon thru 91) is progressing along and to be loaded up on Saturday at the earliest, Sunday at the latest.

Obligatory Bus Content: Got a neat early Bus Button available now - $1.50 each

Obligatory Vanagon Content: Thanks to a couple of list members, I've received an OE accessory dash cupholder/tray for the Vanagon and have sent 'em to my vacu-former for quotes and minimum production quantities.

14,000 on the Westy since new engine (July 4th). Outside of Ignition and minor relay problems, she's just a hummin' along. Changed plugs at 12,000 - nice brown color. Replaced 'em with the WR7DTC's Joel recommends - trip to LA afterwards seems a little smoother and can tell a little better power on the Grapevine (6% grade south bound). Mileage (15-16mpg) is about the same, but then again I'm packed to the gills with display cases and boxes full of parts with an Automatic trans. Doesn't use a drop of oil or coolant. Guess I've been lucky or I'm doing something right.

Noise in the front right wheel bearing(s) - gonna R&R those this weekend (both sides to be safe) (maybe the front brake pads too, don't know if they're due).
