It is my understanding that CA vehicles have a lifetime filter mounted
downstream of the fuel pump. I would recommend installing one to catch
all that the disposable ones do not (I use both). You might want to check
the spray pattern of the injectors. With all that junk in the tank I hope
it is not to late.
