My 95 EVC came with the infamous Model 3163G refrigerator. Mine would not cool below 50 on LP. The RV tech replaced the igniter, burner, cleaned the chimneys, and adjusted the flame, and then it would not cool below 40. I added insulation to the output tube from the combustion chamber, and cut an extra ventialtion hole in the grey side panel, and got it to cool to 35; all being done with the ambient air temp at 70. Mine does not have the high-altitude kit. Imagine my surprise, when the fridge worked perfectly up to 9000' on our last trip. What I learned was the cooling on LP is sensitive to the outside temp, at temps around 90, it would not cool below 50, but at 65, it cooled to 34... all with the thermostat set on 5 (max). I think that my flame must be set lower than others, so that my unit requires less oxygen and thus is not so altitude sensitive. What do others think? Wei-i Li 95 EVC 93 Volvo 245 67 Volvo P1800S
