Rick, Thanks for the help. I need a good location description of the drain and fill plugs. I'm pretty sure where the drain plug is (17mm hex or allen plug?). There's another similar plug half way up the side which may be the fill plug similar to a Vanagons. However on my Jetta you filled the trans through the speedometer cable hole! I also need to know the transmission capacity. Does your '95 have the 5 speed manual? I thought they all have the automatic. Thanks, Rod in west Texas
