If the motor has been lowered, would it be possible to use the same bellhousing? Wouldn't the bolts that mate the engine to the bellhousing also be off by 2 - 3 cms or am I missing something here? Is this how VW solved the problem?! A nice neat solution, just wish I could get my eyes on one of these vans to figure out how they have the TD stuck in a syncro and still be able to start the thing and to have a fuel tank to hold fuel....
