Subject: from wannagon to multivan

Hey Listees, The search has got an end. After months of looking for a nice vanagon, caravelle, multivan or westy it's finaly done. Today I've got my '89 Multivan Syncro 2.1 digijet, 54k mls, power steering, cruise control, 2500 kg towing-bar, carat alloys. A little seam-rust on one of the seams on drivers side, otherwise nice red original paintwork. PO has three very little children, so I've to clean it inside for the rest of the week before I can show it to my lady... As always with a used car, it will abnerve me with any technical damage, that I have'nt realised when making the test-ride, but for now I'm happy. Search has got an end? No, it's just starting-I want sliding-windows, certains, webasto....

Happy Michael Meier Braunschweig, Germany
